According to media reports, The Rolling Stones have been working on a new studio album since April. At the moment, the musicians have managed to complete 13 songs at London's Metropolis Studios.
It is reported that the main members of the group - Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and drummer Steve Jordan - are participating in the project. It is assumed that the famous producer Andy Watt will be involved in recording the new material again.
Initially, The Rolling Stones planned to go on a European tour this summer, but due to scheduling problems, these dates were cancelled.
Recall that even before the release of "Hackney Diamonds", Mick Jagger said in an interview with The New York Times that this album would not be the last for the band, since they were already three-quarters ready to record the next album. Later, Keith Richards also noted that the group will continue to release music "until everyone drops from exhaustion."
